The hotel had a lovely decoration with beautiful antique furniture, creating a cozy and charming atmosphere. The general areas were also well-maintained and clean, making it easy for senior people to navigate around. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with well-lit hallways and handrails in certain areas, ensuring that guests like me felt safe and comfortable during our stay.
I would've liked to see more activities or programs specifically catered towards senior guests. It would have been nice to have some organized events or outings that would allow us to socialize and engage with other senior travelers.

Chilled and great value just off the main route south. Daisy was really friendly and helpful. The view of the valley and Vienne was incredible. Fresh eggs from Daisy's chickens made for a delicious breakfast. The wood pellet burner provided excellent heating. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely property high up on the hills with an incredible view. the host, Daisy, was so welcoming and her godson Euvan helped with translation as Daisy didn't speak English. the house was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for a short stay. the highlight was definitely the breakfast prepared by Daisy, it was absolutely delicious. the hosts were always friendly and willing to help, making me feel right at home. I can only imagine how amazing it would be to stay here during the summer!
Didn't dislike anything about the property. 😊.

The hotel provided fresh eggs from their own chickens for breakfast, which was a delightful and unique touch. The large TV and good wifi made it easy to stay connected and entertained. The wood pellet burner for heating was amazing, keeping us cozy and warm during our Christmas stay. the secure parking behind a locked gate gave us peace of mind.
The hotel is a bit far and high up from the local bars and restaurants, so it is best to bring your own food and drink. Another downside was that we were surprised by additional local taxes and had to pay for our dogs in cash, which we were not informed about beforehand.

The apartment at La Colombe in Vienne was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely living room and a well-equipped kitchen. It felt like a home away from home, perfect for our family. The bedroom was spacious and had a comfy bed, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. We enjoyed watching our favorite shows on the satellite flat-screen TV, adding a touch of relaxation to our stay. Having air conditioning was a huge plus, especially during the warm summer days. The dining area was great for having meals together as a family, creating wonderful memories during our stay.
I personally found the lack of a dishwasher in the kitchen a bit inconvenient, but some might not mind it at all.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of the hotel. The vintage furnishings and cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The hotel's common areas were very accessible for senior people like myself, with comfortable seating and easy navigation throughout the building. It was such a relief to have everything conveniently located and designed with seniors in mind.
I would have loved to see more organized activities specifically tailored for senior guests. It would have been nice to have some gentle exercise classes or social events to meet other seniors.
